Nestled in the beautiful Andean mountains of southern Tolima, the municipality of Planadas is home to some of Colombia’s finest coffee, and to the passionate farmers of ASOBRIS. Founded in 2014, ASOBRIS (The Association of Ecological Agricultural and Livestock Producers Brisas de Quebradon) was born from a shared dream: to achieve fairer trade and improve the lives of coffee-growing families. Grown at high altitudes near the equator, their coffee thrives in ideal conditions, developing vibrant acidity and a distinctive fruity sweetness. Traditional yet precise processing methods include mechanical pulping, 18-24 hours of fermentation, thorough washing and sun drying for around 15 days. A final step in a mechanical dryer ensures consistency in every batch.
