This organic Peruvian coffee is sourced through Perhusa, based in Northern Peru. Founded in 1964, Perhusa works closely with smallholder farmers across the country’s main growing regions, supporting quality, traceability and sustainable production. Produced by small farms in the San Ignacio and Jaén zones of the Cajamarca highlands, the coffee is fully washed and sundried on patios or raised beds under Perhusa’s quality supervision. Through its ARTS PERHUSA programme, the company engages more than 4,400 producer members and over 20,000 families, providing training, certification support and resources for soil conservation and herbicide reduction. Certified organic systems enable these farmers to reach international markets and improve livelihoods.
