Indonesia – Barrel Aged Sumatra Gayo Wet Hull

Xmas special!

Indonesians were exporting coffee long before Grainpro bags were a thing and in those days, it was common practice to store the beans in repurposed wine barrels, giving the brew a very distinctive taste. At Ripe, we like to honour this tradition by ageing some of our Indonesian coffee ourselves.

This batch was sealed back in July 2020 and has been patiently soaking in woody and winey flavours for the past 18 months, peaking just in time for the festive season.

Whether you want to spice up your morning brew between now and the New year or you are looking for a special kind of stocking stuffer, you’ll enjoy the subtle Pinot Noir notes and Raspberry shrub syrup acidity of this coffee.

Available while stocks last.
